G La Galerie, engaged in sustainable initiatives and in the community
Retailers have a real role to play within G La Galerie’ s shopping mall CSR strategy. In this way, the Company promotes the sustainable innovation initiatives adopted by retailers and looks to build close relationships with them.
RETAILERS CSR CONFERENCE
In January 2016, we have invited the retailers present in our centers to work together on improving the way that CSR is taken into account in the shopping centers. Three initiatives were investigated in particular: energy, waste and transport. This annual meeting offers an opportunity for retailers and lessors to work together to see how to combine their efforts with a focus on continuous improvements.
ENGAGED AND ALTERNATIVE CONSUMPTION
G La Galerie welcomes new forms of consumption in its centers, particularly with stakeholders from the social and sharing economy. It encourages more sustainable, solidarity-focused consumption by promoting local production, particularly by welcoming small-scale producers on temporary locations.
